We had a wonderful stay at Schlosshotel. The large room provided stunning views of the river and town below. We appreciated having tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel's restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The staff at the reception and restaurant were friendly and accommodating. We were able to securely store our bicycles. it was a peaceful stay with a comfortable bed. The location was amazing, and the ambiance made us feel like we were in a real castle. It was the perfect starting point for exploring the area, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Room 511 was spacious and had a great view of the river Lahn. The German breakfast included tasty items like salmon, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Nearby Braunfels was a must-visit with its castle and an excellent Italian restaurant called Geranio.

Nice castle, but shower button hard and water was cold for 10 mins. Phone not working, but reception girl was friendly. Free parking, calm at night. Good location with modern, comfortable rooms. Got twin room, but quickly changed to a huge room with sitting area. Nice staff, secure bike storage, lovely breakfast. Very cool property.

I chose this hotel for attending a meeting and I was pleased with their meeting rooms. The hotel has 5 meeting rooms available for events, which was convenient for my business needs. The facilities were well-maintained and provided a professional setting for our discussions.

I missed having a reliable Wi-Fi connection in the meeting rooms. As someone who needed to stay connected for work purposes, it would have been beneficial to have a strong and consistent internet connection throughout the meeting.

Excellent location as a part of the castle complex in the centre of beautiful small town. Paintings on the corridors, furniture etc. give this place a historical ambience. Location next to the Lahntal bicycle trail, which is one of the best in Germany. My room was on the side of the courtyard - very quiet. Excellent breakfast included in the price.

Lovely stay at a beautiful property. I was mistakenly given a twin room on arrival, but the staff quickly resolved the issue and upgraded me to a huge room with a lovely sitting area. The location was stunning, although it was a bit tough to get to on bikes as it's at the top of a hill. However, the property offered secure bike storage. The breakfast was delicious and the property itself was very cool. I highly recommend staying at Schlosshotel!

Staying in a castle in the centre of the old town was a fairy tale come true. The spacious room had a view of the breathtaking river and town. The buffet dinner was of excellent quality, especially for the price. The breakfast was also above average with a good selection of products.

The breakfast was good and the room service was a plus. The staff was very friendly, and the location was convenient to the company offices. The hotel had a small gym and pool, both of which were a nice touch considering the size of the hotel. The view of the river from the room was also fantastic.

The decor of the hotel is outdated and could use a refresh to appeal to a younger crowd. The rooms were initially hot and stuffy with no fans. After we made a request to change rooms, the air conditioning in the new room had a hard time keeping up with the heat. The wifi was extremely slow and spotty. The hotel's restaurant was overpriced and not worth the expense.
